Graduate Garden Party - Spring 2025

As part of the Student Government team, I played a key role in reviving the graduate student end-of-year celebration, the Graduate Garden Party, at The American University of Paris. This fully student-led event had declined over time, and in May 2025, we identified its importance within the graduate community and successfully re-established it, welcoming approximately 100 students and faculty.
I managed key logistics, including securing a venue near the Eiffel Tower, overseeing a university-funded budget, and coordinating décor, catering, and sound. Throughout the planning process, I navigated challenges such as limited transportation and language barriers, strengthening my adaptability and problem-solving skills.
In my role as Graduate Social Director, I assessed student needs to design engaging events and led a committee of undergraduate students. Within one semester, I organized two social events and a campus breakfast focused on writing thank-you letters to professors, an initiative that encouraged connection, appreciation, and greater on-campus engagement.

Through a two-semester course at Texas A&M University, I collaborated with a team to plan and execute the annual Hospitality, Hotel Management & Tourism Tailgate, an event designed to bring together students, faculty, and alumni.
During the first semester, we focused on comprehensive event planning, including concept development, logistics, and audience strategy. As Marketing Lead, I directed all promotional efforts, developing a cohesive visual identity, aligning materials with university branding standards, and coordinating messaging with department marketing teams to ensure clear and consistent communication across platforms.
In the second semester, we brought the event to life, hosting approximately 150 guests and creating an engaging, community-focused experience. From on-site coordination to attendee engagement, the event was executed seamlessly and received strong positive feedback from both staff and administration.

Website Design:
As part of a course at The American University of Paris, I developed a comprehensive rebrand for the Stonewall Chamber of Commerce in Stonewall, Texas. The project focused on capturing the understated yet distinctive beauty of the Texas Hill Country while prioritizing clear, strategic, and compelling communication of the Chamber’s key initiatives and community values.
Below are the brand guidelines I created, which served as the foundation for designing a cohesive, visually engaging website and brochure aligned with the refreshed brand identity.
Chamber of Commerce - Spring 2024
The Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce serves as a central force in the region, championing local businesses, strengthening the economy, and creating meaningful opportunities for residents. As a Marketing Intern, I identified a strategic opportunity to elevate business visibility through dynamic, short-form video content. I produced videos at Chamber ribbon cuttings and monthly networking events, allowing local audiences to better connect with and visualize each business’s unique brand identity.
In addition to content creation, I contributed to the planning and promotion of the annual Crawfish Boil. This experience was especially meaningful, as the event raises funds to support students in agriculture through the purchase of stock show animals, directly impacting the next generation of the community.
Blackchalk Home & Laundry - Summer 2024
At the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas, is a vibrant community of local small businesses. While working for Blackchalk Home and Laundry, I was given the opportunity to elevate the brand’s social media presence, strengthening visibility and enhancing overall communications through thoughtful, engaging content.
One aspect I especially enjoyed was highlighting fellow local businesses carried in-store through a bi-weekly “Business Spotlight” series. Using short-form video, I captured the personality behind each brand while showcasing the movement and texture of interior design, bringing a dynamic element that sets the content apart.
In addition to content creation, I managed customer communications across social media, in-store interactions, phone, and email. I approached each touchpoint with intention, striving to foster genuine connections, strengthen brand loyalty, and create a welcoming, memorable customer experience.
