AgriLeader: Published Articles - Spring 2024
The Agrileader is a student-produced magazine at Texas A&M University that is published twice a year. Students work for a semester to find stories and events to inform the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, students, faculty, and former students. A Taste of Texas in Paris - Fall 2025
One of the lessons I’ve learned while living in Paris is that you’ll never go hungry, with charming cafés on nearly every corner. However, as a Texan, I often missed authentic barbecue. Recommended by a friend, I decided to try a barbecue restaurant in Paris and was pleasantly surprised. You can read more about the experience in the article above.

The American University of Paris recently redesigned a major student space with the goal of fostering community on campus; however, the outcome fell short in several key areas. As a student, I recognized the need to highlight this oversight and ensure that student perspectives were heard, an issue I explore in the article above.
French Terrior - Summer 2023
In the summer of 2023, I participated in a study abroad trip to Angers, France. During this experience, my peers and I toured various agricultural practices throughout the French countryside. I was fascinated to learn how their agriculture differs from that of the United States and to understand the significance of terroir in their culture and business marketing. To summarize our trip and studies, each student was required to create a magazine, which is shown above.

Gavin French was a bareback bronc rider on the Texas A&M University rodeo team while he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. This article provides valuable insight into the school-life balance of a student-athlete and explores how being a member of the TAMU College Rodeo Team has impacted not only his college experience but also his life.

Drought has plagued Texas for decades, yet the state's agriculture continues to persevere and feed America. To gain deeper insight into this ongoing challenge, I interviewed Jamey Vogel, a peach grower from Fredericksburg, Texas. This article explores the impact of drought on Texas crops and the ways local farmers adapt and innovate to overcome these persistent conditions.
Class Assignment - Spring 2022
As an undergraduate student in the Agriculture Department at Texas A&M, I was fortunate to learn about the Rosenthal Meat Center located on the west campus. However, after talking to fellow students in other departments, I discovered many were not aware of this center and its benefits to the campus. The purpose of this article is to advocate for the opportunity for students to purchase high-quality meat products at low prices. Additionally, it aims to explain how the center has supported the local community and enhanced students' education.
